Last month Sweet South Cottage became a retailer for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Waxes. Posts around this product line will be featured regularly. You will see transformed furniture, workshops, and tips about the best techniques and tools for using the products. Annie Sloan herself and the International Distributor for Annie Sloan Products Jolie Design and Decor are deeply committed to selling the products in a local retail environment. They want consumers to understand how to best use the products to achieve the greatest success. The paint has only been offered in the United States since Summer, 2010. In that time the number of retailers, also called stockists, has grown dramatically to over 100. Annie Sloan Products can be purchased over the internet as a matter of convenience, however, I would urge you to take a workshop from your closest retailer/stockist. In the spirit of rising water, raises all ships, I will be blogging about my fellow stockists around North America. The first stockist I am featuring is Andrea from Sweet Vintage Decor in Riverside, California. You can follow her blog here. Links to her website and Facebook Page are available from her blog. Sweet Vintage Decor actually sells both Annie Sloan Products and their own painted furnishings and vintage decor in TWO locations. (Yes, I am jealous) You can find them at:
And this last picture is of a CHARMING small settee I am drooling over. And apparently so is Miss Mustard Seed, because it was chosen as one of her favorites. Yeah Andrea!
