The inspiration is the rich glowing yellow is the color associated with the town of Arles in the South of France. It is a rich yellow ochre with a hint of orange juice and with with Old White added the color is warm and gentle.
Photo: Christopher Drake took these pics of this very simple table. It needed something straightforward and strong to go with the uncomplicated design so Arles is a good idea tempered with the “Paris Grey” and the greyed blue green of ‘Duck Egg” inside!
